Another great show-love the intro!!! Just my two cents as far as the replaceable knives go, a buddy of mine has those and I have resharpenable ones, we compaired costs a while back and found that at least in our area (rural Mn.) it is way cheaper to resharpen. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

In regard to Tom’s Lead Article, I hope ultimately, that the onus is on the manufacturer of wood finishes to keep the parts per million of lead low enough (zero?) to avoid the need for lab testing a final product. I know lead has been used historically as a metallic drier but now other metals are used for this function. Although I donâ

I thought that the discussion you and Tom had about lead was very valuable. I would not have really even thought that it would still be that much of an issue, but I am grateful that you made me aware of any risk or liability in the future. Thanks.

Re: The FWW forum, Marc I’m with you. I haven’t visited “Knots” in many months, because you’re right; the Prospero forum SW sux big time. ‘seems reminiscent of, I dunno, Compuserve (I’m showing by age. ;))? Not only that, Prospero auto-censors posts based on sometimes baffling criteria. I used to write something and be baffled at why they replaced some words with ###.
