On today’s weekend show, we’re talking about dumb projects.
What Are We Talking About
Kevin asked:
This weekend, for no other reason than I watched Carl Jacobson do it and I wanted to try it, I made a stingray on the lathe…the lathe that I’ve only had for less than a month and really only made pens and a few handles on. I didn’t have the right tools (Rockler pen turning set), probably the wrong lathe (Rockler Excelsior mini lathe), and busted up a finger or two on some catches from using the wrong tools, but I got it done! I was proud of it in the end and it was a lot of fun to make! So, my question is, what is the dumbest thing you have decided to make for no good or logical reason and how did it turn out?

I made a replica of Rey’s gun (from Star Wars: The Force Awakens) just because, but it turned out pretty nice https://instagram.com/p/BJHKmdSjNw_/
It seems to me, I just saw someone on facebook making a giant fishhook…
